Zen was designed to provide relief for those with tinnitus. Zen is a feature present in Widex hearing aids that can be activated for individuals with tinnitus. Zen makes tinnitus less noticeable by producing zen tones which are either chime-like or white noise. Your audiologist can adjust the pitch, volume and tempo based on your feedback. The idea is that the zen tones or white noise will help you to habituate to your tinnitus over time. The tinnitus device is designed to be used as sound therapy in combination with tinnitus counselling.
