This April, we will be focusing on sound, and how sound can play an important part in our lives. Sound can elicit emotion and memory, and everyone has a favourite sound. We asked each of our staff members to describe their favourite sound this month! Read below for one of our responses:
From Mary A, who works in our Clayton Park location:
I think my favorite sound would have to be the sound of waves coming up on the shore! Happy childhood memories of family at the beach on Sunday, digging clams and cooking them right there with a picnic lunch with family and friends. The peace I used to feel there after my father had passed away, taking my nephews there as children, and lastly vacations.
