Spring can be such a beautiful, hopeful, time of year. Not only do you hear birdsong every sunny morning, but you hear the neighborhood children out playing after a long winter spent indoors, the warm breeze ruffling through the grass, the buzzing of the bees, and a number of other sounds that remind us of the new season.
Take some time on the next sunny day and sit on your deck or in the park, and take in the sounds of your surroundings. If you aren’t hearing the little musical details of your surroundings, you’re missing much of the beauty in the soundscape of our lives.
