Loving my job is easy. On a daily basis, my job is to greet people (on the phone or in person), make them smile, and feel good about their day. I have been told by a patient that I am a “ray of sunshine”, and that they love coming to see my big smile and chat with me while waiting for their appointments. It’s a wonderful feeling when you can go to work knowing that you can put a smile on someone’s face. My daily encounters with my patients remind me how important relationships are in life; even if we only spend a few minutes together every few months, they will be memorable.
