As a child I was plagued with horrible ear infections. I remember as a little girl, sitting in school with so much discomfort. Barely hearing what was going on around me. My family doctor referred me to a wonderful Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor and my life changed. I was immediately scheduled for a quick and painless procedure to have tubes inserted into my ears. Everything became clear! I could hear! I could hear! I was followed regularly for years by that same ENT who truly cared about my hearing health. Is there any advice I can give you? Be proactive about your own hearing health. Have your hearing tested. What are you waiting for?
