My most memorable day at Hearing Institute Atlantic was when one of our patients was fit with new Oticon Chlili 5 hearing aids. He had been wearing hearing aids for over 40 years. He was amazed at “the new sound”. After he left our office he stayed outside on the sidewalk. After a while I went out to see if everything was okay and I could see that he was crying. I asked “are you okay”? His response was “I have never heard the traffic or the birds EVER”!
