Working as a Hearing Instrument Specialist for 30 years has provided me with an amazing amount of fulfillment and joy by being able to give the gift of better hearing back to my clients. The favourite part of my job is providing the service of housecalls. When someone is unable to come to our office to have their hearing tested or their existing hearing aids checked, I am able to go their home to provide this service. These patients are so appreciative for this service as it allows them to benefit the most from there hearing aids. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to provide such joy to people and to improve their quality of life even though they are unable to leave their home.
