While we are talking about FM systems it is good time to mention the mini mic. This new technology is similar to an FM system and can also help to improve hearing in noise.This is an option for someone who doesn’t require an FM system daily but spends some time in challenging listening environments.
To use the mini mic there are 3 key pieces of technology that are necessary: 1) the mini mic, 2) a bluetooth remote and 3) hearing aids. The speaker wears the small mic clipped to their clothing and the person with hearing loss wears both the remote and the hearing aids.
The mini mic is a great solution for a noisy restaurant or around the house.
