The 12th annual alFresco filmFesto presents the Summer of Johnny: Rolling in the Depp, July 27 to Aug. 24 on the Halifax waterfront.
The outdoor summer film series, presented by the Atlantic Film Festival, will show five of Depp’s hit movies on consecutive Fridays, projected on a 10-metre inflatable screen at the end of the Halifax waterfront boardwalk, near the Halifax Seaport Farmer’s Market.

Hearing in a large outdoor space can be difficult for folks with Hearing Loss, especially in a crowd. Make sure to sit in a spot which gives you a clear view of the screen, making sure the help of visual cues is available, like speech reading or body language of the actors. Ask people around you to kindly “ssshhhh” if their voices become distracting. This program tells the Hearing Aids to focus on sound you are facing – where your attention is, and puts less focus on the sounds behind you.
