Noise Protection

Noise induced hearing loss affects millions of people worldwide.  Most often noise exposure goes unnoticed for many years as noise induced hearing loss occurs slowly.  By the time hearing loss is noticed significant irreversible damage has often already occurred.  Noise awareness and the use of hearing protection are crucial as noise induced hearing loss is preventable.

 We offer a variety of solutions for working in noise, musicians, sleeping and swimming.

Noise Breakers and Traditional Noise Protection

Noise Braker; This is a vented, shell style plug with a small filter inside the vent. With good attenuation and moderate clarity, this plug delivers up to an NRR* of 20 dB (CSA Class B) when made in the standard New-sil material. This is a good choice when attenuation is needed along with the ability to still hear some low frequency sound for environmental awareness.noisebreaker

Sentinel – Traditional Noise Mold; This is a solid shell style plug with up to NRR* 26dB (CSA Class A & AL) when made in the standard New-Sil Material. This has the most attenuation we offer in a noise plug. Sentinel is a good choice when communication is not a priority and sound attenuation is.

Noise Braker and Sentinel plugs are available with several options upon request which include: fit style (shell, 1/2 shell or canal) handles,strings, metal ball bearings (for detection purposes), clips, color swirls and even sparkles. Note: a fit style change from traditional shell may affect attenuation.

  • Noise Braker and Sentinel plugs are easily cleaned by using mild soap and warm water, then left to air dry.
  • NRR* – Noise Reduction Rating

Musician/Filtered Ear Plugs musicianearplug

  • ER Musician Earplugs also known as Filtered Earplugs were designed to protect hearing while preserving all the subtleties and richness of music. Other earplugs, particularly foam, muffle sound so music and speech are not heard distinctly.
  • Music and Speech reproduced through these earplugs sounds exactly as it would in an ear without an earplug, but at a lower (safer) loudness level.
  • There are 3 levels of attenuation; 9dB 15dB 25dB

Swim Plugsswimplug

  • Swim molds combine fashion and function in a custom fitted product. They are soft to the touch yet tough enough for everyday use and provide excellent sealing qualities.
  • A handle and string attachment are standard on all Swim molds. As an option, float able material can be used upon request.

Sleep Plugssleepplug

  • Sleep Plugs are a great solution for restless sleepers. Custom fit, made with soft silicone material, sleep plugs will provide a peaceful night’s rest by gently diffusing background sounds and noise.
