Mary comes to us with a substantial background in the finance industry, including customer service, sales, lending and brokering. Enthusiasm for learning and attention to detail are her strengths, along with kindness and compassion. She believes knowledge and understanding are the keys to understanding hearing loss and its effect on people and families.
Kim joined our team in 2011 and enjoys working in our Gladstone office. Kim brings over 20 years of Customer Service Excellence most recently from a long-term career at The Bay. Our patients will enjoy her professional, yet warm manner and gentle smile, and feel at ease in her care.
Patricia has been practicing audiology since 2000 in the Halifax area and now holds a Doctorate of Audiology in the field, graduating from the Salus University of Pennsylvania. Patricia also has a Masters of Science in Audiology from Dalhousie University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with honours, from St. Mary’s University.
Beth has practiced in clinical audiology since 1989 in both hospital and private practice settings. Beth has a Masters of Science in Audiology, a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Dalhousie University.
Angela brings over 10 years experience in customer service to Hearing Institute Atlantic. She is thrilled to be a part of the hearing industry and enjoys working with client’s to provide better hearing health.
Jaymie recently joined the team at our Gladstone clinic, bringing over 20 years of Client Service experience, including 9 years at a big four accounting firm. Clients are greeted by her friendly, positive and energetic personality making you feel at right home.
Heidi is thrilled to be part of the Hearing Institute Atlantic audiology team. She graduated with a Masters’ degree in Audiology from Dalhousie University and earned her Bachelor of Science from Memorial University. She has experience working with patients in both hospital and private practice settings.
Raised in Cape Breton, Emily is thrilled to be working in her home province. Emily completed her Bachelor of Science with Honors in Biology at Cape Breton University, and her Masters degree in Audiology at Dalhousie University. Emily ensures that her clients are treated to kind, caring and thorough hearing health care.
Mary Arsenault was born and raised in Lake Echo, NS and now shares her home in Halifax with her precocious cats, Tilley and Charlie ! Mary joined the team at Hearing Institute Atlantic in 2012 after a 25 year career with The Bay in Halifax. Her experience in customer service, marketing, sales and even a stint as a hair designer have all prepared her for her role as a Client Service Specialist at Hearing Institute Atlantic.
Jillian obtained a Master of Science degree in Audiology from Dalhousie University, and previously completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Acadia University. Born and raised in Bedford, Nova Scotia, she was thrilled to remain in her hometown and work within the community and surrounding areas.
Lauren is a graduate of the Audiology program at Dalhousie University. She has a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Economics from Dalhousie University. She started her audiology career in private practice in Ontario, but has recently moved back to her home province of Nova Scotia to join the Hearing Institute Atlantic team in early 2020.
Dominique graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree from the University of Western Ontario and later obtained a Hearing Instrument Specialist Diploma from Conestoga College.
She brings a wealth of knowledge related to hearing technology and strives to provide her clients with top notch hearing care.
Maxine obtained a Master of Science degree in Human Communication Disorders from Dalhousie University and prior to that, a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick. She began her career working clinically for 3 years, and then spent 9 years working for a hearing aid manufacturer.
Born and raised just outside of Halifax, Leslie is thrilled to be working in her hometown with the Hearing Institute Atlantic team. Leslie obtained her Master of Science degree in Audiology from Dalhousie University, as well as her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from Dalhousie University.
Rhonda was very excited to re-join the Client Services team at Hearing Institute Atlantic in August 2016 after a detour in Newfoundland for 3 years. Rhonda brings over 20 years of experience in the customer service industry and is very happy to be back with her Hearing Institute Atlantic family.
Jessica is a graduate of the Dalhousie School of Human Communication Disorders Master in Audiology program, and also holds a bachelor’s degree with honours in Neuroscience from Dalhousie University. With her experiences in audiology research, Jessica is a firm believer of combining proven, independently-tested methods with patient focused care to offer her patients well rounded service that is tailored to their lifestyle needs. Jessica is passionate about promoting hearing health care and raising hearing awareness, and enjoys educating others on hearing health-related matters.
Meghan has a Masters of Science in Audiology from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, with honours, from Mount Allison University. Meghan grew up in Fall River and worked in private practice out of province for several years.
Beth graduated from the University of Western Ontario where she obtained her Master’s degree in Communication Science and Disorders in Audiology. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Acadia University.
Gabrielle is from a small community along the beautiful south shore of Nova Scotia. She studied business at NSCC Lunenburg Campus, graduating with a diploma in Business Marketing. Her administrative and sales experience keeps the clinic running smooth, and clients are treated to her warm and welcoming greeting.
Kelsey comes to us with experience in event coordinating, sales and a diploma in Graphic and Digital Media design. She loves to use her creativity to communicate the importance of hearing health and strives to make positive connections with clients.
Alison received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with honours, from the University of New Brunswick in 2014. Her interest in human anatomy and desire to help others led her pursue a profession in health care. She obtained her Master of Science degree in Audiology from Dalhousie University and is passionate about the science and study of audiology.
Kathryn is excited to be part of the Hearing Institute Atlantic team following a big cross-country move with her family. She is a wonderful compliment to the team in our New Minas clinic and looks forward to exploring the Valley and surrounding areas.
Molly graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Dalhousie University and later obtained a Hearing Aid Practitioner diploma from MacEwan University. Born and raised in Bedford, NS she and her husband are settling in and loving the beautiful Valley area.
Annie joined the Hearing Institute Atlantic team bringing her 18 years of office administration and customer service experience with her. With a bubbly personality, she enjoys making sure our clients are treated to a welcome greeting, sharing a warm smile, and her gentle genuine manner with everyone.
Lindsey grew up in Fall River, NS, and is thrilled to be back in Nova Scotia after obtaining her Master of Clinical Science degree in Audiology from the University of Western Ontario. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with Neuroscience from Acadia University.
Virginia joined the Hearing Institute Atlantic family in 2012. As a passionate health and wellness advocate Virginia fits into the Hearing Health Care profession seamlessly. She is an avid runner and in 2012 completed her first full and Ultra Marathons and has since also completed a full Triathlon.
Wendy (LeBlanc) was born and raised in Yarmouth and after completing her business course, she began her career in banking. Wendy decided to pivot her career and dove head-first into the hearing health care field.
Charli graduated with Honors from the Office Administrative program with NSCC Burridge Campus. She has excelled in her past roles in office administration and customer service, and brings a warmth and charm to the clients at Hearing Institute Atlantic.
Chantel has joined the team at Hearing Institute Atlantic bringing her experience in business and hospitality. Chantel is enthusiastic to learn more in the hearing healthcare industry and is applying her skills to become a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist.
